Steering Committee
This committee is composed of one leadership person from each of the NED6 Congregations. They work with the Strategic Planner, Ruby Cribbin, to coordinate the work of the Dominican Leadership Conference of the Northeast (DLCNE ) in implementing the NED6 process. The committee serves as the liaison with the NED6 Sub-Committees, the DLCNE and the Leadership of the Congregations.

Prayer/Ritual Committee
This Sub-Committee prepares prayer, ritual, and appropriate ambiance for each gathering as well as material that may be used between gatherings.

Hospitality Committee:
This Sub-Committee orchestrates the logistics involved in gathering members from the six Congregations for membership meetings. This includes developing and disseminating registration forms for all six Congregations – Amityville, Blauvelt, Caldwell, Elkins Park, Hope, Sparkill; tracking the registrations to insure representation from each Congregation for each meeting; determining the site(s) with the Steering Committee and arranging for set-up and hospitality at each site; arranging for optional overnight accommodations as needed for each meeting.

On-Going Formation Sub-Committee:
This Sub-Committee works with existing committees of the DLCNE 6 regarding on-going formation to offer: 1. Collaborative Retreat; 2. Charism Workshop; 3. Leadership Mentoring; 4. Development of Preaching Promoters; 5. Development of Justice Promoters. It also gathers information on programs being offered by the various congregations that are open to all and gives this information to the Communications Sub-Committee for publishing.

Sponsorship Sub-Committee
This Sub-Committee has two purposes: to recommend a shared meaning of sponsorship for all six congregations; to research and report to leadership and membership on the present sponsored works of each of the six congregations
This Sub-Committee has these tasks: to research the meaning of sponsorship as understood and used in each of the six congregations; to identify the sponsored works; to identify ways of incorporation of sponsored works; to understand the legal and canonical consequences of merger or union on each sponsored work.
